Content delivery network

An edge network for sites whose visitors are mostly in Bangladesh, where content served from Singapore or Europe still feels slow.

The problem

Global CDNs route a lot of Bangladeshi traffic through distant points of presence. This network serves it from a local edge, with the controls a site owner expects (caching, purging, security and logs) managed from one console and an API.

What it does

  • Distributions with custom domains and automatic free TLS certificates
  • Cache rules, and purging by path or pattern
  • A firewall for attacks, bots, risky addresses, country blocking and rate limits, each verified on the edge
  • Signed URLs, CORS and bandwidth caps with alerts
  • Visitor analytics, request logs and log export
  • Usage metered from edge logs
  • A second edge server, with automatic failover
  • Multi-CDN: local traffic on the own edge, the rest of the world on a partner network
  • Invoicing from the metered usage
